Year 2 Trip to Clitheroe Castle
To kick off their History Topic on Castles, Year 2 visited a real life castle!
They made their own castles using a range of materials and took a tour of the castle where they focused on historical vocabulary.
Imagining History Workshops
Years 1 and 3 were visited by the amazing, Imagining History, who carried out workshops on Florence Nightingale (Y1) and The Stone Age (Y3).
The children had lots of fun and learnt lots of new things, as seen in the pictures below.
World War Two Secret Event at The Museum of Lancashire
As part of their World War Two unit, the children in Year 6 visited a Secret World War 2 event.
The children enjoyed becoming spies, learning Morse Code, analysing photographs and learning military drills.
