At Woodnook we want our children to be caring, resilient, independent and creative individuals. We want every child to feel safe, secure and free to learn. Every child no matter their starting point will have opportunities to develop their language through first hand experiences and to be able to build their cultural capital providing them with the foundations for their journey to adulthood. We want our curriculum to be ambitious and progressive; meaning children can build on prior knowledge and make links between different subjects and learning from previous years. Leaders work closely together to ensure fluidity and consistency. This enables our students to build knowledge and skills to support them to know and remember more by making deep links.
